At República del Cacao, we believe in the power of fine aroma cocoa and the transformative benefits of natural and sustainable ingredients. Our partnership with the World Food Program (WFP) is a clear example of this commitment. Together, we have developed nutritious recipes based on two iconic ingredients of our country: cocoa and bananas. These ingredients not only provide flavor, but also a powerful combination of nutrients that improve the diets of those who consume them.
Rich in antioxidants and essential minerals, cocoa is a superfood that supports cardiovascular health and provides natural energy. Bananas are a key source of potassium, fiber and vitamins. These two products have inspired us to create nutritious and delicious recipes, in which we have also included local ingredients such as maize or barley flour instead of conventional flours.
Our collaboration with the World Food Program not only seeks to promote better nutrition, but also to encourage the consumption of two emblematic Ecuadorian products.
