Good Food – Fudela
At the end of 2023, República del Cacao signed a Cooperation Agreement with Fudela, an Ecuadorian NGO with 20 years of work in the country. This organization implements high-impact programs for the social and economic inclusion of vulnerable groups, including the human mobility population.
Therefore, in March 2024, we organized our "Comida Buena" project, which supports gastronomic social enterprises, in collaboration with Fudela. This time, we trained 15 participants, essentially Venezuelan migrant women, alongside our allied chef from República del Cacao, Estefanía Monge.
They received hands-on training in pastry and chocolate making for entrepreneurs, where, in addition to learning new recipes created by the Chef, they discovered innovative pastry techniques to apply to their preparations. The group that participated in this training also included people who already had their own gastronomic businesses.
