Republic of Cacao – Exquisite China
República del Cacao was part of the exponential event that showcases the wide offer of premium products and tourism services, “Ecuador Exquisito,” in its 4th edition, alongside the Ecuadorian Consulate in Shanghai and PRO ECUADOR. This event was broadcast on several specialized communication platforms targeting the culinary world audience.
Various conferences highlighted the quality and characteristics of Ecuadorian products like bananas, shrimp, mangoes, and of course, chocolate. The products' versatility was demonstrated by Ecuadorian chef Javier Endara, who presented a fusion menu blending Ecuadorian and Chinese cultures.
For Santiago Yánez representing PRO ECUADOR, it is important to promote our country as a gastronomic and tourist destination. For Karina Morales, Consul General of Ecuador in Shanghai, we are strengthening our gastronomic identity on a global scale and should feel proud of the importance our products have around the world in destinations like the Republic of China.
