An experience to cook with mindfulness and discover more than a dish: a story.
We will connect with our diversity of flavors on a journey through three destinations: mountain, sea, and jungle, where each dish will be an opportunity to learn about the origin of the ingredients, the stories surrounding our chefs, and the purpose for which they were conceived. We present this book with 20 signature recipes, created by Latin American chefs who transform flavors into a language that unites identity, memory, and the essence that connects us to our origins.
Have a good trip!

THE ALLIANCE BEHIND IDENTITIES
Republic of Cocoa and the World Food Programme (WFP) join forces to transform gastronomy into a force for change, capable of connecting nutrition with hope and fostering sustainable development in our country's communities.
Since 2023, this alliance has driven joint work based on shared values: promoting conscious gastronomy, strengthening responsible value chains, and contributing to food security in Ecuador.
In 2024, this collaboration led us to explore the nutritional potential of cocoa and banana, two emblematic Ecuadorian products, demonstrating that food is a tool for development and well-being. This year, we reaffirm our commitment by bringing renowned Latin American chefs from the República del Cacao community to this cause.
Thus Identities is born: a journey through conscious gastronomy, a recipe book created to inspire and generate a real impact.
