Republic of Cacao in Japan, Strengthening Cooperations in International Markets
We are a local brand with a global impact. Fine aroma cacao is part of our Latin American heritage, and we are proud to promote its history in communities around the world. With this purpose in mind, a few weeks ago our chocolates were part of a special event at Valrhona Japan's facilities in Tokyo.
The event was attended by three members of the Embassy of Ecuador in Japan: the Ambassador, the Second Secretary, and the Ambassador's Secretary. It also included the participation of 22 chefs from Valrhona Japan.

The products featured at this major event were our Amazonia Dark Chocolate 75%, our Ecuador White Chocolate 31%, and our Caramelized Ecuador Milk Chocolate 40%, which the participating chefs used to create three delicious desserts. In addition, using our Ecuador Dark Chocolate 56%, our Ecuador 56% Liquid Dark Chocolate, and our Cacao Nibs, the chefs also organized tasting sessions through which the Ambassador and his team were able to learn about and appreciate all the characteristics of a product as unique as aromatic fine chocolate.
The objective of the event was to strengthen relations with the Ecuadorian Embassy in Japan, in order to develop our products' presence and achieve greater collaboration between markets. For the attendees, this was an event like no other, through which they were able to learn more about Ecuador and all the possibilities that can be developed with the production of a local product with global impact.
