Vinces donation to develop sustainable productions
December 2016 - 10% of net profits from our "La Comunidad Vinces" chocolate bar in 2016 was donated in form of machinery.
At República del Cacao, we seek to develop the sustainable production of Fine Cacao at its source. Consequently we have created programs that benefit more than 2,000 small producers of Fine Cacao in Ecuador. One program collects 10% of the profits generated by the sale of our Vinces chocolate bar during the whole year, and to give this amount in form of machinery to Vinces cacao associations. This year, we donated to the association “La Reforma” a chainsaw, a mower, a scraper, a motorcycle scythe, a motor spray, scissors and a saw, according to their punctual needs. We hope to keep contributing with
the development of our cacaos and national chocolate"cacao arriba" industry.
