Carmenere wine and República del Cacao chocolate pairing

The 1st stop of the “Carmenere Tour”, a regional event organized by Concha y Toro, a famous Chilean winery, took place in Seoul on the 10th, 11th and 12th of April.
During these 3 days, 2 dinners, 2 masterclasses and a press conference have been organized at the Intercontinental Seoul with Concha y Toro’s Brand Ambassador Pablo Pressac and the former 3-Michelin-star Chef Bruno Ménard, about Carmenere wines and República del Cacao chocolates pairing.
For the dinners, Chef Ménard created “The Red Menu”, made up with four dishes, each one including one specific República del Cacao dark chocolate (Ecuador 56%, Perú 62%, Ecuador 65%, Blend Ecuador-Peru 70%) and paired with one specific Carmenere wine.

Daniel Hong, our Business Developer Manager in South Korea and Hank Hong, Sales representative at Bake Plus, our Korean distributor, have been invited to do a presentation of República del Cacao at a masterclass and at the press conference.
The next stop of the tour will take place in Macau in September 2017.
